Tip #1 - Winterizing Your Home.

Winter is coming, and the last thing you need is a pipe freezing in the wall.
Homeowner’s can actually do a lot by themselves to prevent this from happening.
What you do is

  • Disconnect your garden hose and make sure that your hose bib is turned off.

  • Frost Free hose bibs really help. Don’t have one? Contact us, and we’ll let you know how much it would cost to get one.

  • Keep all of your house warm!  You may be trying to save money, but if parts of your house become as freezing cold as it is outside, the pipes will freeze in the walls. And you may never find out they froze until it is too late.

Tip #2 - Think your toilet is leaking from tank to bowl?
Put a few drops of blue food coloring into your toilet tank. If the water in the bowl begins to turn blue by itself, it's time to give us a call.

Tip #3 Know your costs.
As the job is being worked, customers tend to add to the job without first asking how much the addition will be. And then get surprised by the final bill. We'd rather you know the cost first.

RECOMMENDED - Ask how much something will cost before asking for the addition. In fact, knowing our rates (or for larger jobs, requesting a FREE estimate) before the work begins will make things easier for both of us.
